How long have you been in business?
I have been working with the deaf and hard of hearing my entire life. I started my own hearing aid business in 1970 and retired after 40 years for health reasons. Otherwise I would still be working.
What is your primary product or service?
To provide information about hearing aid products that are free for those who are deaf, hard of hearing or use a hearing aid.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
I was raised on a farm near Penelope Texas and raised by deaf grandparents. Most of my relatives are deaf and most attended the Texas State School for the Deaf at Austin, Texas.
How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
It has always been our motto: Cheaper, because we care!
How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
I now operate my business from my home as a mail order system.
We have many products available including hearing aid and cochlear implant batteries.
